Tech note
How to renew the key
- Press and hold the Unlock button (the LED flashes once).
- Keep holding it and press and hold the Trunk button for 10 seconds. The LED stays on (renew mode). Release all buttons.
- Press Unlock three times. The LED flashes; when it turns off, the renew is finished.
How to change the frequency
- Press and hold the Lock button (the LED flashes once).
- Keep holding it and press and hold the Trunk button for 10 seconds. The LED stays on (change-frequency mode). Release all buttons.
- Press Unlock once. The LED flashes; when it turns off, the frequency has changed. (Default frequency: 315 MHz.)
Option 2: KYDZ app > Special Function > Benz > change the frequency by Bluetooth.

Program and cut it
- Programming: A new key has to be programmed to your vehicle: by a locksmith, by the dealer, or with a key programmer such as the Autel IM508S, Autel IM608 Pro II or Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus. Check your tool's vehicle list for your exact model and year first.
- Cut the emergency key (HU64): Condor XC-Mini Plus II, Dolphin XP-005 or Dolphin II XP-005L cut it by code; the Dolphin XP-007 copies it from your existing key.
